These images were taken on the afternoon of June 23, 2011 at Bodega Head. A young woman broke her left leg while attempting a jump to the sandy beach from the rocks above. A California Highway Patrol helicopter crew assisted with her transport from the beach up to a nearby parking lot, where Bodega Bay Fire District crew assisted her into a Paramedic Rescue truck.
